Finials opened in fall 2010 on famous Fifth Avenue South in beautiful Naples, Florida.  One of the best streets in all of Florida, Fifth Avenue is synonymous with the very finest quality high-end merchandise, but that doesn't mean it has a high-end price.

​

After almost 3 years on Fifth Avenue, we decided it was best to downsize the business by closing the retail store.  We are now online-only.  Doing so allowed us to offer the same high quality at an even lower price.  For the Finials Foray Online Store, simply click on "Online Store" above.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Effective 12/20/2013, part-owner Jeannie Hautmann sold her shares, leaving Scott Dixon as the sole owner of the business, so that Jeannie could put all her focus on her design business.

 

STATEMENT FROM SCOTT DIXON:

I cherish the many friends I met through Finials. The store was on its way to becoming a financial success (we were paying our bills), which is no small feat in today's competitive retail world. I always knew that a retail store is hard work, and at the end I was working over 70 hours per week without a single day off. Co-owner Jeannie Hautmann was struggling to find even 20 hours per week to work in the store, given the attention that has always been required by her other life responsibilities, and neither of us were ever paid a single dime for our work at Finials.

 

I could live with long hours and a long wait before getting my first paycheck. However, after I loaned the money, the partnership was unilaterally changed, despite my objections, so that it was completely different from what was agreed upon as I was being convinced to become part of Finials and loan about 95% of its startup cash. I could not live with this, even though it meant losing a large chunk of my life savings.

 

Statement from Jeannie:
